whooops

Today was a sad day for FROOT .. we learned a lesson, the hard way (the only way we ever learn) while happily running through some wormhole sites for the tasty treats the sleeper leave behind, we were visited by a wayward scouting ship...

We chose to ignore this blatantly obvious warning sign, and carried on... while he, and his pals mounted a fleet to destroy us.

We promptly threw ourselves into their waiting trap and lost all our shiny ships. Including... my Legion, which I had always kept clear of trouble as it was a purely PVE design.. and one of my personal 'most expensive toys'

eve online, Legionmy legion had sen me through Level 4 missions, low-sec complexes and wormholes a-plenty and now its nothing more than a VERY high pricetag on a death-mail of mine.

My legion
ship name: Hoard
<tears go here>

eve online, Legion
Endy also lost his Legion ... and i'm pretty sure he too had never been in a scrape with it before..

ship name: einhander
<add more tear here>
eve online, Legion
Utric too lost his Legion... which lets face it, was gonna happen at some point...

ship name: [some unpronounceable eastern European name]
<no tears required here ... it was a ship Utric owned... they all end up dead soon>

Sadly in the frey we also lost a Hurricane belonging to Goose ... it was a sad day indeed, but. Let this be a warning to all, if you're happy doing your thing in a wormhole, and you get to 'see' a scout (quite frankly I don't know why he showed up uncloaked) then just simply head for safety (or rally the pew pew squad) as where there is a scout... the gank squad is sure to follow.

We were dumb enough / unlucky enough to actually fly right at them (unintentionally) while attempting to make our escape, ironically as we were aligning / warping out Endy called over comms:

"if you're not warping right now.. chances are you're going to die"

The irony being that because we warped.. we all died.

well played to the other guys, you royally handed our asses to us (mine was even delivered to me on a silver platter)
