1+2 = whoops

Orca's ... they're big. they have a mass of 250,000 tons. which is great for crashing out unwanted wormholes ceasing any unwanted visitors.

This is very good news as the rules for crashing a wormhole are very simple, each wormhole lasts a certain amount of time, and you can possibly just wait until it dies naturally.

Alternatively, understanding that each wormhole is limited by the mass which It allows through you can work out with some simple maths...

simple .... maths...

When you get it wrong however, you end up stranded, in a strange wormhole and then the next logical thing is that you have to get out the only way possible...

and once your precious space ship is floating around as little particles of space dust, you are of course left with one small thing, its egg shaped, and we all love them... your pod. Time to prepare for 'emergency clone jumping' via the wonders of deep-space explosions. As for your implants, fare well old friends.

So.. wormholes...

Maths is important.

We finded it!

We were brave little FROOTs today, after all the hassle we've had we decided to check out our neighboring wormholes, we'd found a miscreant C1, which we ignored, then went to our C3 .. which was empty... so we run a few sites and think to ourselves.. "hey, you know what... lets sell this wormhole"!!

Being that by the laws of 'I found it first' we planted a FROOT flag and sent off some info to the appropriate persons of interest, within a very short time we had arranged a preliminary deal for some extra isks for the corp wallet!

We failed miserably to get any of the C3 sites run with any real outcome due to a rather annoyingly timed error related downtime, but at least it wasn't a complete waste!

Nothing to see, move along

Nothing much to report, FROOThole has not been going swimmingly.. lot of dead ships so far, but on the flip-side we're getting our milk-teeth removed (by force). We'll be Wormhole vets soon!

lots to learn yet.

What IS going on?

I have no idea whats going on anymore, people invading our little cubby-hole bringing their rape-faces, odd structures and stuff at the POS, someone mentioned mining, my brain shut down at the idea of roid scraping.

Recent Quote of interest: "Holy shit! there's an Orca behind me"

meanwhile here's a mildly amusing comic strip:

Mad? we're positively Bananas!

Well one this is always certain, FROOT is unpredictable as corps go, officially we are in space what the 'chaotic-neutral barbarian' in dungeons & dragons, we have no distinct goal, we follow no real rules, we harbour criminals as well as the most innocent of carebear. In our time we've been high sec dwellers, a slight time spent in low-sec (until we were very kindly asked to leave at the business end of some large weaponry).

We've mined, we grind (I figure its the closest verb for mission grinding which rhymed with mined) we've traded, scammed, griefed and run incursions... now we find our whim drawn to taking occupancy in a wormhole, it's new it's different it's .... frooty.

No sooner had we taken up residency and gotten settled than we found the hole appearing not too far from a busy route, we figured if we were going to see any activity, it would be sooner rather than later, and with only a handful of the FROOT's actually ensconced inside the 1st bout of action began! a small group of Hurricanes laid a neat little trap into which yours truely fell face first.

However, I ahve to say my new ship, a 'laser' Ferox, faired better than I had hoped for, tanked 3 canes, seeing one of them off, I thought we'd killed him, but I guess he got out at the very last moment. [sad face goes here]. and I got out by the skin of my hull and Panicus flew off wildly in a random direction, which for me is as good an escape as any.

Hopefully Axloth, chasman and whoever else was left behind in the FROOThole is still in one piece.

back on the ISK donkey

So... after all that nonsense it was time to get back onto the act of fattening my wallet.

Big shout goes to Tenla Amarr... you know why!! (^_^)

Then after grumbling at the fact that incursions were nowhere nearby, doing some basic lowsec crap, including standing off against a fleet of battleships and battlecruisers which far outnumbered us [poop-pants time]. We were intending to hunt down some of the russians which had recently moved to a nearby lowsec region but ended up going home. Another fleet went back down to lowsec after I logged and one of our new guys lost his harby, but it was a good learning experience for all involved.
-- Gate mechanics... learn them, use them.

So, ISK, how to:
Incursion!! while sat contemplating running some level 4 missions or moving the 30 jumps to the incursion site I was blessed with a new incursion spawning exactly where I was. So, being that it was already quite late... the following day (which was yesterday from today, I have no fear of using past present and future tense all at once) I was sat spamming adverts and getting nowhere, eventually I chose to form a fleet and no great surprise within about 15 mins had a fully functioning fleet up and running including offgrid boosters, sometimes I do good.

I invited Panicus along and Endy too and a bunch of randoms then we went forth and raped sansha until we were all rich and happy! Thankfully I only FUBAR'd a couple of times as FC, and for the most part people followed orders. Thank you to those guys that joined the fleet, better to make ISK together than be sat waiting for a fleet invite!

where's ur POS gone...

I paid a visit to a certain system in which our friendly neighborhood Russians had their POS ... seems a lot like its not there any more.

 oopsie..

Sadly this means no pretty explosions ... but lol anyway

Finally.. IT'S OVER!

Sadly in the last throws of our death spasm, we lost a vaga to a gate jump... I think they had spies (sappin mah sentry) watching the gates. Sorry about that Duto!

Overall we were quite well spanked, but considering the number superiority and the fact I made some crappy decisions which lead to horrible OMG BBQ mai-fayse! raping of our ships the entire 'russian' war came out at 49% efficiency. mostly due to our fondness of shiney ships... and Utric making a slight fuck up early on..

In terms of kills however...

51 ships killed by FROOT
14 lost.

that's some nice KDR even if our shit was worth more than theirs!

details of the wardec(s) >>  (click to go to the kill board)

In other news, I met some chap today (who was kindly informing me of a price check...) we got chatting and the war came up, turns out he had a little gift for FROOT ..

That's him.. stealing a Russians retriever!

So. back on with the usual FROOT madness, hopefully the comming week's we'll be back to grinding das isk / griefing das noobs the normal crap we get up to. Probably wont see many regular postings on thie blog thang, but rest assured any fun/interesting things will get posted!

Begone damn Russians!

The main alliance has pulled their wardec against us, which is much better for us, we're soon to get back on to more important FROOT things.. sadly the last combat between us was myself and the person we believe to be the alliance leadership, in a 1 Vs. 1 (hurricanes) I forgot to overheat and lost..

sad panda..

The overall stats aren't impressive due to the FUBAR that was the battleship losses.
